KIEV, July 3 (RIA Novosti) - One man has been killed in a helicopter crash in southern Ukraine, a spokesman for the emergency services said Monday.
A Ka-26 Hoodlum light multi-purpose helicopter went down in the Nikolayev Region when it hit a high-voltage power line.
"The helicopter's blades became tangled in a power line while conducting irrigation work, caught fire and crashed in the middle of a field," the spokesman said. "The body of the 46-year-old-pilot was found in the wreckage."
Local emergencies experts are investigating the crash.
