MOSCOW, July 20 (RIA Novosti) - Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited (SMBCE, LSE) has extended a $130 million to Vnesheconombank (VEB), Russia's state-run foreign economic bank said Thursday.
The bank's press service said the credit line from the European arm of Japan's Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group would be used to finance Russia's agro-industrial exporters.
"The signing of this agreement is another step for VEB in supporting Russian companies involved in key sectors of Russia's economy, including the agro-industrial sector," the press service said.
