MOSCOW, August 1 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's crude oil production rose 3.3% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2006 to 119.66 million metric tons (9.6 million barrels per day), the Industry and Energy Ministry said Tuesday.
Average daily oil output grew steadily in April-June 2006, from 1.31 million tons (320,000 bbl/d) in April to 1.32 million tons (323,000 bbl/d) in June, the ministry said.
Production of oil with gas condensate expanded by 5.89 million tons in the first six months of the year to 235.93 million tons.
In the second quarter of 2006, Russia refined 7.94 million tons of gasoline, 15.42 million tons of diesel, and 13.74 million tons of fuel oil, the ministry said.
