- Russia won gold in the double trap junior men's team competition with 384 points. Italy took silver with 382 points, and the U.S. took bronze with 365 points

- Arkady Vyatchanin won the gold medal in the 100m backstroke men's competition in 53.5 s. Markus Rogan (Austria) took silver in 54.07s and Grigoriadis Aristeidis (Greece) finished third in 54.34s
