Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for August 4

MOSCOW, August 3 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from August 4, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 20.4863 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.5055 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.8188 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.8040 rubles

1 euro - 34.2126 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 37.4829 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 22.3864 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.7624 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.6016 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 17.8574 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 43.3855 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.8474 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.9732 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 53.1161 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.2816 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 37.2123 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.7160 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 23.3525 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
