MOSCOW, August 4 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2,584 billion rubles ($96.4 bln at the current exchange rate) as of July 31, down 38.5 billion rubles ($1.44 bln) in the week since July 24.
According to the Bank, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
