MOSCOW, August 8 (RIA Novosti) - Household deposits in Russian banks totaled 3,022 billion rubles (about $113.2 billion) as of June 1, representing a 9.7% increase from the beginning of the year, the Central Bank said Tuesday.
Ruble-denominated deposits totaled 2,392 billion rubles ($89.6 billion) on June 1, up 14.8% in the first five months, while deposits in foreign currency contracted by 6.5% to 629.5 billion rubles ($23.6 billion) from 672.5 billion rubles ($25.2 billion).
