MOSCOW, August 15 (RIA Novosti) - Sheremetyevo international airport chose Jones Lang LaSalle as financial consultant to implement the first stage of a modernization project, the airport and the company said in a joint news release Tuesday.
"The company will attract funds and give consultations on increasing the commercial potential of the real estate facility being constructed," the statement said.
Jones Lang LaSalle is known for consulting services to a number of international airports, such as O'Hare in Chicago, Sidney International (Sidney), Chek Lap Kok in Hong Kong, and Aeroports de Paris.
The $300-million project to modernize and expand the Sheremetyevo II terminal includes integration of terminals II and III, as well as the installation of a new automated baggage handling system, the construction of a railroad station and a multilevel parking lot.
