MOSCOW, August 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Finance Ministry has submitted a draft of the 2007 federal budget and the financial plan until 2009 to the government, a source said early Wednesday.
Under the draft document, federal spending in 2007 will increase by 26.3% year-on-year from 4.32 trillion rubles ($161 billion) to 5.46 trillion rubles ($203 bln), the source said.
"Budget revenues in 2006 are projected at 6.16 trillion rubles ($229 bln)," he said.
He also said budget revenues were estimated at 6.96 trillion rubles ($259 bln) in 2007, 6.9 trillion rubles ($259 bln) in 2008, and 7.5 trillion rubles ($279 bln) in 2009.
