Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for August 16

MOSCOW, August 16 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from August 16, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 20.4629 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.4967 rubles

10 Danish krones - 46.8843 rubles

1 euro - 34.2495 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 37.9595 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.4813 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.8451 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.5615 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 42.7488 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.9657 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.7221 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.7804 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 18.4058 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 53.0831 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 37.1475 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.6337 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 23.0667 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.6853 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
