MOSCOW, August 22 (RIA Novosti) - Charges have been brought against three suspects in Monday's Moscow market bombing that killed 10 and left 49 injured, prosecutor Yury Syomin said Tuesday.
The suspects were detained on the day of the bombing.
"Ilya Tikhomirov, Oleg Kostyrev and Valery Zhukovtsov have been charged with the premeditated murder of two or more people on grounds of ethnic and racial hatred," Syomin said, adding that the suspects did no belong to any extremist groups.
"There is no evidence showing that they belong to any non-commercial or non-governmental organizations," he said.
The prosecutor also said seven of those killed in the bombing attack had been identified. "Two of them are Russians; three are Tajik citizens, and two are Uzbek nationals," he said.
