DONETSK, August 25 (RIA Novosti) - The body of a one-year-old child has been found at the site of a Russian plane that crashed on Tuesday in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said Friday.
At least 170 people were killed, including 45 children, when a Tu-154 jet came down en route from a Black Sea resort to St. Petersburg in stormy weather 30 miles north of regional center Donetsk.
A rescuer working at the site said, "The age of the child is about one year."
At least 125 relatives of those who died in the crash gathered Thursday at the site of the tragedy, where a cross and a memorial were placed in memory of the victims. Russia held a day of mourning on that day with flags flying at half-mast and entertainment events and television programs cancelled.
