MOSCOW, August 29 (RIA Novosti) -- Svyaz-Bank said Tuesday it will more than double its authorized capital, to 5 bln rubles ($203 mln).
The decision was made by the bank's shareholders at an emergency meeting.
The bank said the increase would be made through an additional issue of 27,653,836,200 ordinary shares with a face value of $0.0037 each.
Founded in 1991, Svyaz-Bank is one of Russia's top 30 banks by assets (valued at $1.09 bln as of April 31, 2006).
