ATHENS, September 4 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said presidential elections in Bulgaria, due in October, will not affect the positive development of relations between the two countries.
"I hope that despite the coming political events in your country, it will not prevent the forward development of our bilateral relations," Putin said at a meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart, Georgi Parvanov.
