MOSCOW, September 8 (RIA Novosti) - International ratings agency Fitch Ratings said Friday it assigned senior unsecured ratings of "BBB-" to three Eurobond issues of Gazprom [RTS: GAZP].
"Fitch Ratings has today assigned OAO Gazprom's USD500 million bond maturing in 2007, USD700m bond maturing in 2009 and USD1.75 billion bond maturing in 2013 senior unsecured ratings of 'BBB-' (BBB minus)," the agency said on its Web site.
Earlier, Moody's Investors Service assigned the Russian energy giant's Eurobonds a long-term unsecured Baa1 rating.
Gazprom is Russia's largest company, producing 86% of the country's natural gas and controlling 25% of the world's gas reserves. It accounts for some 7% of Russia's GDP and some 11% of its federal budget revenues.
