NEW YORK, September 19 (RIA Novosti) - A chance to resolve the Middle East crisis still exists, and should not be wasted, the Russian foreign minister said Tuesday.
"We should not waste time and should make every effort to put the strong desire for peace in the region into practical action," Sergei Lavrov said after a meeting with the secretary general of the Arab League at the UN headquarters.
"Politicians in countries of the region have their own domestic problems, but the fate of the Middle East should be put ahead of current domestic issues," he said.
