MOSCOW, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian and British foreign ministers met in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly 61st session and discussed the Sakhalin II energy project in Russia's Far East, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday.
Sergei Lavrov and Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett also "discussed several areas of bilateral cooperation, and exchanged opinions on current problems on the international agenda, including Iran's nuclear program and regulating the Mideast conflict," a ministry press official said.
