MOSCOW, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych has arrived in Moscow for his first official visit to Russia since taking office, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia said Thursday.
On Friday, Yanukovych, the former rival of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko in the 2004 presidential election, is expected to meet with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov.
The spokesman said they will discuss economic cooperation between Russia and Ukraine, and other issues of mutual interest.
