GROZNY, September 30 (RIA Novosti) - No one was wounded as unknown assailants tried to blow up a police motorcade in Chechnya, the North Caucasus republic's Interior Ministry said Saturday.
"A landmine was blown up in Chechnya's Shelkovskaya District on the way of two UAZ and one Ural vehicles," the ministry said.
Spokesmen said the column was heading for Daghestan.
An investigation is underway.
