MOSCOW, October 2 (RIA Novosti) - Thousands of shoppers have been left in the dark after two hypermarkets in the northwest of the Russian capital experienced an electricity blackout Monday, a RIA correspondent reported from the scene.
The shoppers were caught in complete darkness in the Mega and Auchan hypermarkets located in the suburb of Khimki, the reporter said.
