Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for October 4

MOSCOW, October 3 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from October 4, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 19.9993 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.4814 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.7350 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.7335 rubles

1 euro - 34.1013 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 38.3716 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.0062 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.9633 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.8009 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 17.8164 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 40.7759 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.4934 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.8879 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 52.8518 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.4755 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.5212 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.4969 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 22.7287 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
