Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for October 5

MOSCOW, October 4 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from October 5, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 19.9094 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.4978 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.6800 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.7671 rubles

1 euro - 34.0745 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 38.6473 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.0122 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.8184 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.8434 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 17.5926 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 40.5685 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.6530 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.8931 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 52.9057 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.4239 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.5102 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.4738 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 22.6744 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
