Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for October 6

MOSCOW, October 5 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from October 6, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 19.9888 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.5025 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.6177 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.7803 rubles

1 euro - 34.0458 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 38.9985 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.0171 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.7920 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.8601 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 17.8298 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 40.6452 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.5596 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.9100 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 52.9318 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.5103 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.4805 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.4277 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 22.7608 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
