MOSCOW, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2,706 billion rubles ($101.05 billion at the current exchange rate) as of October 2, down 26.7 billion rubles ($997 mln) in the week since September 25.
According to the Bank, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
