Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for October 7

MOSCOW, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from October 7, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 19.9853 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.5183 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.5987 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.8102 rubles

1 euro - 33.9900 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 39.4326 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.0251 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.7974 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 33.8979 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 17.8735 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 40.3750 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.6756 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.9139 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 52.9647 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.3227 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.6761 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.3917 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 22.7205 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
