MOSCOW, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - Kamaz [RTS: KMAZ], Russia's leading truck maker, has closed a deal to obtain a $100 milliom syndicated loan, state-controlled Vneshtorgbank, one of the credit organizers, said Friday.
The loan, to be syndicated in the near future, will be provided for 12 months in two currencies - $50 mln and 40 mln euros at LIBOR+1.5% per year without collateral, VTB said.
"Kamaz will use the funds for ongoing development and general corporate goals," VTB said.
The other credit organizer is Moscow Narodny Bank.
Kamaz, in which the government has a 34% stake, announced previously it was planning an initial public offering in mid-2007.
