TYUMEN, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - Sibneft-Noyabrskneftegaz, the core production unit of Russian oil company Gazpromneft [RTS:SIBN], produced 20.35 million metric tons (149 million bbl) of crude in the first nine months of 2006, exceeding its target by 3.8%, the company said Friday.
However, September production fell 6.9% short of the monthly target. Average daily production in September was 57,000 metric tons of crude (417,800 bbl/d), the company said.
Gazpromneft, formerly Sibneft, is a subsidiary of Russian energy giant Gazprom.
