CHISINAU, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - The currency reserves of Moldova's National Bank grew $6.6 million month-on-month to $647.8 million in September, the bank said Friday.
The National Bank of the former Soviet republic said the reserves had grown a total of $46.78 million since the start of 2006.
The National Bank said it had invested $270.1 million of its foreign currency receipts in securities, kept $377.7 million in cash and deposits, and $7.4 million in reserve in the International Monetary Fund.
