MOSCOW, October 7 (RIA Novosti) - One person has died and two were injured in a fire that engulfed a fire-storey dormitory in central Moscow earlier Saturday, the capital's firefighters said.
The fire broke out in a building on Butyrskaya Ulitsa at 9:11 a.m. (5:11 a.m. GMT).
"Firefighters evacuated all residents and put out the fire at 9:53 a.m. (5:53 a.m. GMT)," a spokesman said, adding that the building was built in the early 1920s.
He said the cause of the fire has yet to be identified.
