NAZRAN, October 8 (RIA Novosti) - Police in the North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia have detained two members of an illegal armed group, a local law enforcement source said Sunday.
The militants, who have been identified as residents of Chechnya, were arrested early Sunday near the capital of Ingushetia, Nazran, and are currently interrogated, the source said.
Operatives seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a Makarov pistol and 89 rounds of ammunition during the arrest.
