Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for October 12

MOSCOW, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from October 12, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 20.0374 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.5842 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.3300 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.9537 rubles

1 euro - 33.7945 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 39.2511 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.0993 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.7750 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 34.0410 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 18.0776 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 40.1641 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.5899 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 16.9808 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 53.2682 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.0153 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.4969 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.2200 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 22.5365 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
