Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by the Central Bank of Russia for October 18

MOSCOW, October 17 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from October 18, 2006:

1 Australian dollar - 20.3377 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 12.5792 rubles

10 Danish krones - 45.2727 rubles

1 euro - 33.7588 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 39.6418 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.0883 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 23.6896 rubles

10 Chinese yuan - 34.0677 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 39.7828 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 17.0179 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.1868 rubles

1 US dollar - 26.9445 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 18.2304 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 53.2300 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.4780 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 21.2078 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 22.6177 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 39.5349 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
