BAKU, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - Azerbaijan's gross domestic product grew 34%, year-on-year, in the first nine months of 2006, to 12.7 billion manat ($16 billion), the country's statistics committee said Wednesday.
GDP per capita in the Caspian republic stood at 1,920 manat ($2,197) in the reporting period, up 32.8%, year-on-year, a statement said.
Industry's share of GDP in January-September was 71.4%, whereas the service sector's share stood at 21.7%, the statement said.
