MOSCOW, October 20 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2,765 billion rubles ($102.6 billion at the current exchange rate) as of October 16, up 38.5 billion rubles ($1.43 billion) in the week since October 9.
According to the CBR, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
