MOSCOW, October 27 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2,785.1 billion rubles ($104 billion at the current exchange rate) as of October 23, up 20.5 billion rubles ($765.6 million) in the week since October 16.
According to the CBR, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
