MOSCOW, October 31 (RIA Novosti) - Russian gold producer Polyus-Zoloto said Tuesday its net profit for the third quarter of 2006 stood at 197.3 million rubles ($7.37 million) according to Russian Accounting standards, representing a 190% quarter-on-quarter increase.
Polyus-Zoloto is a gold-mining company recently divested from Russia's metals giant Norilsk Nickel.
