NIZHNY NOVGOROD, November 3 (RIA Novosti) - A five-year-old child was killed in a supermarket in northwest Russia when a woman lost control of her shopping cart, local rescue services said Friday.
The woman was going down a moving walkway Thursday night with a shopping cart filled with 198 kilograms of construction materials in a MEGA supermarket, 10 kilometers (6 miles) outside the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
The shopping cart rolled down the walkway and hit the child, who was in the supermarket with his parents. The boy died in an ambulance on his way to the hospital.
