HELSINKI, November 7 (RIA Novosti) - Heavy snowfall has disrupted freight traffic on the approach to the Russian border in Finland, causing a 30-mile line of trucks to back up, Finland's border guards said Tuesday.
Disruptions began last Friday when fallen trees and snow left trucks waiting to cross into Russia through the Vaalimaa-Torfyanovka checkpoint.
In other affected checkpoints, the situation is back to normal.
