MOSCOW, November 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Vozrozhdeniye Bank said Wednesday its net profit calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) increased 31% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2006, to 615 million rubles (about $22.7 million).
Vozrozhdeniye Bank, which is on a list of the country's top thirty banking institutions published by the Central Bank of Russia, said its pre-tax profit grew 50% in the reporting period to 794 million rubles (about $29.4 million), earnings per share were up to 32 rubles (about $1.19) against 26 rubles (about $0.96) a year earlier.
The bank's assets increased by an annualized 40% in the reporting period to 63.31 billion rubles (about $2.3 billion) and its shareholder equity was up 63% to 5.32 billion rubles (about $197 million).
