KIEV, November 11 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has appointed a former Cabinet minister to represent him in parliament, the presidential press office said Saturday.
Roman Zvarych, who quit the post of justice minister earlier this month, will replace Yuriy Klyuchkovsky as the presidential envoy to the Supreme Rada, spokesmen for the Ukrainian president said.
Zvarych is a member of Yushchenko's West-leaning Our Ukraine party, which announced last month it was going into opposition amid a growing rift between the president and the governing coalition, led by Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych's pro-Russian Party of Regions.
Zvarych submitted his resignation along with three other Cabinet members allied with Yushchenko, including the ministers of culture, health, and sports.
