MOSCOW, November 17 (RIA Novosti) - Rosneft [RTS: ROSN] said Friday its net profit calculated to Russian Accounting Standards in January-September 2006 had risen 43.2% year-on-year to 76.4 billion rubles ($2.9 billion).
The Russian state-controlled oil company said its earnings for the first nine months of 2006 had climbed 27.7% year-on-year to 458.6 billion rubles ($17.2 billion).
The company said gross profit gained 10.4% year-on-year to 143.7 billion rubles ($5.4 billion).
Rosneft's authorized capital after consolidation of its 12 subsidiaries is nearly 106 million rubles ($4 million), of which the state owns 75.16%.
