GROZNY, November 19 (RIA Novosti) - Three people have died in a car attack in the Republic of Chechnya in Russia's troubled North Caucasus region, the local interior ministry said Sunday.
A policeman and two passengers were killed when their car was attacked by unidentified persons who opened fire on the car in the republic's Kurchaloi district, east of the Chechen capital of Grozny, the ministry said.
The law-enforcement bodies are carrying out measures to find and apprehend the attackers, the ministry said.
The law-enforcement bodies have also neutralized several explosive devices at the republic's oil wells. An investigation is under way, the ministry said.
