MOSCOW, November 22 (RIA Novosti) - The Moscow City Council adopted Wednesday the city's budget for 2007, foreseeing a deficit of 88 billion rubles (about $3.3 billion).
The city's revenue will total 740.56 billion rubles (about $27.78 billion), and expenditure will amount to 829.34 billion rubles (about $31.11 billion), said Igor Antonov, head of the council's budget and finance commission.
The Moscow City budget deficit will hit 12% of the budget revenue in 2007, compared to 11.2% in 2006.
