DUSHANBE, November 22 (RIA Novosti) - Tajik President Emomali Rakhmonov dismissed the country's government Wednesday, the presidential press service said.
"All Cabinet members will continue performing their duties until a new Cabinet is formed," the press service said.
The incumbent Tajik president, who was nominated by the ruling People's Democratic Party, recently won a third consecutive seven-year term as leader of the Central Asian country in a vote boycotted by opposition parties and criticized by Western observers as flawed.
Rakhmonov received about 80% of the vote, with a 91% turnout.
