MOSCOW, November 27 (RIA Novosti) - The Bank of Moscow's net profit increased 18.4% year-on-year in the first ten months of 2006, to 4.06 billion rubles (about $152 million), the Central Bank said on its Web site Monday.
Pre-tax profit grew 16.3% year-on-year in January-October 2006, to 5.28 billion rubles (about $197.9 million), the financial statement said.
Founded in 1994, the Bank of Moscow is on a list of the country's top thirty banks published by the Central Bank of Russia. The Moscow government holds a 62.2% stake in the bank.
