MOSCOW, November 27 (RIA Novosti) - Six people were killed in a road accident 174 kilometers (108 miles) west of Moscow on the Moscow-Riga highway when a minibus and a truck collided, police said Monday.
Police said the driver of the minibus was to blame for the tragedy because he entered the oncoming lane before crashing into the truck.
"Performing an overtaking maneuver, the driver of the Mercedes minibus entered the oncoming lane and crashed into the Volvo truck. As a result, six people in the minibus were killed," the source said.
Police have not yet provided information on survivors.
