MOSCOW, December 15 (RIA Novosti) - An armed guard was wounded in an attack on an armored vehicle carrying cash in southeast Moscow Friday, a police source said.
"The incident occurred at about 16:00 Moscow time [1:00 p.m. GMT]," the source said. "The assailants attacked a vehicle carrying cash, and wounded one of the armed cash delivery staff."
The condition of the wounded guard and the amount stolen have yet to be established, he said.
Police have launched an investigation, the source said. It is already clear that the assailants were driving a Subaru and a Russian Lada, he added.
