MOSCOW, December 27 (RIA Novosti) - The government nuclear power corporation Atomenergomash said Wednesday it has acquired a controlling interest in Russia's energy engineering group EMAlliance.
The deal was signed under an agreement concluded May 15, 2006 between Atomenergomash and EMAlliance on establishing a machine-building holding, the nuclear power corporation said.
EMAlliance, a leading Russian energy engineering company, was set up on the basis of the Moscow Region machine-building firm ZIO Podolsk and investment company Ziomar.
ZIO Podolsk is the main supplier of equipment to the Bushehr nuclear power plant under construction in Iran.
