MOSCOW, January 7 (RIA Novosti) - President of Russia Vladimir Putin has appointed Alexander Losyukov as a deputy foreign minister, the president's Web site said Sunday.
Until now, Losyukov was Russia's ambassador to Japan, the Web site said.
Putin released Alexander Alekseyev from the position of a deputy foreign minister and appointed him as Russia's permanent representative at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the Web site said.
