MOSCOW, January 11 (RIA Novosti) - Net capital inflow to Russia by the private sector in 2006 has been assessed at $41.6 billion, or 38 times higher than the 2005 figure of $1.1 billion, the Central Bank of Russia said Thursday.
In 2004, there was a net outflow of $8.4 billion.
Net inflow of capital by banks was $25.1 billion in 2006, a 330% increase from the 2005 figure of $5.9 billion. In 2004, banks brought $3.5 billion into Russia.
